No political message
, his face and the text just fitted the bill.

Initial Design
While the red 'D' faces down and to the right, the white arrow points in the opposite direction. I wanted to work this into a fire escape sign with the 'D' representing 'danger' and the arrow showing the direction of escape.

Navigation on the underground
As part of a project at university I looked at ways to help passengers find their desired platform on the underground. This would ease rush hour jamming and weekends where tourists block tunnels as they search for directions.

Situation:
As a traveler enters the underground he could be presented with coloured markings to follow for the different tube lines.

The markings could run along the roof or floor giving a clear route.

On reaching the correct line the markings would branch off with indications of north and south (or east and west). The platforms would either be painted entirely in their respective colour..

..or have clearer indications of which line it is.

Altenative Phrasing

  • Don’t throw it away, give it away.

  • Put it where it’ll make a difference.

  • Give your old possessions a new life.

  • Put your old possessions to new use.

  • Give it to someone who hasn’t.

  • Something for and from everyone.

  • Final
